What is Decisioning?

Decisioning is the Principa Cloud service for executing pre-configured decision flows. A decision flow is a versioned, account-scoped definition that takes a set of input fields, evaluates them against your business rules, and returns a structured outcome.

Typical use cases include affordability checks, eligibility scoring, fraud screening, and dynamic pricing - any scenario where a request needs to be evaluated against a chain of rules and the resulting decision returned to the calling system in real time.

Decision flows are authored and published in the Principa Cloud Portal (Decision Studio) and invoked over HTTP by the source system.
